Take a deep dive into Arzel Zoning systems with our detailed product overview. You'll learn about the components of our systems, our control panel options, and the types and sizes of dampers available. Includes information on HeatPumPro, MPS, AirBoss, EzySlide, Ezyfit, InsertaDamper, RegiDamper, CoolMizer, AloneZone, FACT Board, and all of the components of these systems.

Why Choose Arzel?

Reliable, air-driven operation

One pump powers 35 dampers

Each Arzel panel comes with a medical-grade air pump that can operate up to 35 damper actuators. Usually that means you can connect 35 dampers, though sometimes larger damper sizes require 2 actuators.

Need even more dampers? We can install a second pump into your panel box, making the panel capable of handling up to 70 actuators.

No springs, gears, motors, or extra transformers

Our modern pneumatic dampers are motorless! There are very few moving parts in each damper, and that means you won’t have to replace faulty motors in the future.

Even if you’re using a ton of dampers, you don’t have to install any extra transformers or add any wiring. Just connect our PVC tubing to each damper and you’re set to go. You won’t even need any special tools.

Our test damper has cycled over 24 million times

We keep a test damper in our office that opens and closes continuously. It has cycled open and closed more than 24 million times, which is the equivalent of more than 2,000 years of standard operation! See our test damper in this video.

So reliable there’s a lifetime warranty

Our air-driven dampers are a big reason why we’re able to offer a lifetime warranty. Since they have so few moving parts, they last a very long time. You won’t need to go back and replace motors after a period of time.

The main moving part in our systems is the air pump. It’s also very long-lasting, but if you ever need to replace it, it’s located in the panel box so it’s easy to replace.

Easy Installation

Pneumatic tubing is simpler than wiring

Installing Arzel Zoning dampers doesn’t require any wiring. Each damper connects to the zoning panel with our PVC tubing. Just cut the tubing to length, and snap it on the damper nipple by hand. No special tools required!

When you have more than one damper on a zone, we offer tee fittings you can use to quickly add dampers. Just snap them on by hand, and the barbed fitting will hold them in place. See how it works in our tubing installation video.

Dampers install in 2 minutes

Our standard EzySlide dampers can be installed in about 2 minutes each. You’ll just make a small cut in the duct, insert the damper, and fasten with screws. Take a look at our damper installation video to learn more.

Solutions for inaccessible ductwork

How can you install a damper when the ductwork is not accessible? We have a solution for that, too! We offer a few different damper options that make zoning possible when you can’t get to the ductwork.

  • Our EzyFit damper folds like a taco so you can insert it into a duct through an access point like a register or a trunk line you can reach.
  • The InsertaDamper has a spring-loaded belly band that holds it firmly in any round duct. You can squeeze InsertaDamper to fit around a corner, then release the belly band and it will stay securely in that spot.
  • RegiDamper is your answer if nothing else works. The RegiDamper is installed right through the register.

Zero Hassle, Zero Maintenance

We know there are other comfort solutions out there. So why choose Arzel? Easy. Our zoning systems require zero maintenance.

Other Solutions Make Visible Changes to the Home

Another drawback of ductless mini-splits is the visible changes they require. Many customers are unhappy with the lines that need to be run on the outside of their home. They may not want a new appliance mounted to their inside wall. Depending on the location, the mini-split might also blast them with cold air while they relax on the sofa.

Arzel Zoning Systems are Easier than Ductless

Arzel Zoning systems don’t require any cleaning. They won’t contribute to any mold issues or bad smells. They just work seamlessly with the equipment to deliver comfort for many years. With zoning, most of the parts are invisible to the end user. The dampers go inside the ductwork. The only thing they will see is the zone control panel, which is a small box that will be installed near their equipment. They won’t need to change the look of the inside or outside of their home.

How Arzel Zoning Compares to Other Zoning Systems

Arzel Zoning systems are also easier to maintain than other zoning systems. Our pneumatic dampers are unique in the industry because they are motorless. All of the dampers are powered by a single air pump in the panel box. That means fewer moving parts that get worn over time. See a comparison of Arzel v. the competition.
